I was thinking that they could be written into the PEAR explaintaion. Something like: With X developers working from X different countries, the PEAR team maintains and supports X packages which have been downloaded X number of times, since it's founding in X.Statistics will go on the front page.Which one exactly? Number of devs? Number of packages? Number of downloads?
I agree, do we want to highlight some specific packages? Maybe some of the packages which would be most interesting to developers who are new to PEAR and/or PHP?*What's in PEAR?* We can't list all the packages, but we can either highlight several popular packages or list the categories, and then have some general about PEAR packages.All packages is far to much, I guess...
