Hi Aaron Wormus, you wrote:
Am writing from the correct email address this time :)
In deed, I'm with you. Can you propose something more concrete?
Concrete ideas coming right up... Again, please add to this list
FRONT
Logo and Advertisement
The content and design will determine how we can keep the PEAR/PECL seperate. Is this concrete?
I saw some text up recently describing PEAR (done for LinuxTag I think), I couldn't find it when I looked now, could that link be posted, along with any other PEAR/PECL texts that have been written. I will try to condense them into something we can use for this.Sounds good! :)
Statistics will go on the front page.Which one exactly? Number of devs? Number of packages? Number of downloads?
BACK
Reference Card
I thought that we could use a small font (8 or 9) and maybe 2 columns.
Since "What is PEAR" is covered on the front, the back can answer the following questions:
*What's in PEAR?* We can't list all the packages, but we can either highlight several popular packages or list the categories, and then have some general about PEAR packages. All packages is far to much, I guess...
*Where do I get PEAR?* How to install PEAR. How to use it in your scripts.Yeah having the go-pear line on the back and maybe some installer commands sounds nice! :)
Where do I get help with PEAR? Some URLs to help resources (I assume they exist)
Any one else have any ideas? Please expand on mine if you have a minute or two.I'd like to have some nice words on PEAR, too... I'll think on that... Regards, Toby -- Tobias Schlitt GPG Key: 0xA6529579 a passion for php http://www.schlitt.info
