Hi all, There has been some activity on the wiki page, but the text is still missing on the downsides of exceptions. I'm certainly not the right guy to write it. After so much heated discussion in the list, I'm certain there are strong opinions missing in the text. The argument part is essential to writing the guidelines section, so I'll wait until next wednesday to write it. Will all interested parties make an effort and try to put down their POV in the text?
