Even C extensions are supposed to comply with the coding standards ? I
feel kind of unsure about this one, as eventually we will have several
extensions moving from 'php4/ext' to 'pear/PECL'. I'm pretty sure these
extensions will not comply with the standards, and will not change the
naming because of BC issues.
Maybe we should be less strict about extensions. I agree it would be nice
to continue with the same standards relating to function naming, but I
don't think thats even possible.
