$ pear install channel://user:pass@pear.php.net/Foo syntax becomes possible and parse_url is at our disposalI see you are working towards your trademark certification on "Good Things."(tm)
This also means that future options can be added as extra path arguments $ pear install channel://pear.chiaraquartet.net/Foo/group=BarWould that not be "Foo/?group=Bar" -- since it's URL and all. Won't parse_url choke on Apache-like "path_info" stuff here? -- pmj
