Hello pear-dev, Can anybody provide me with an access to XML_RPC repository? I've got a couple of patches and I really don't want to repeat the diffs with each CVS revision every time somebody fix one or two bugs. If you will not like my work - you can always rollback after CVS commit notifications. I need to move further with my development and while I'm fixing bugs with my local copy I'd be glad to incorporate them into XML_RPC. You don't need to mess with the code, to waste your time testing bugreports, finding free time to work out solutions - just monitor patches and ask if you have any questions or rollback if something goes wrong. "If you want something done - do it yourself" - isn't it the true spirit of Open Source? What I want is to make XML_RPC client (at least) to report it's PEAR version by define('XML_RPC_VERSION', '1.1.0'); (I know it is impossible for Server.php part). Also to fix a bug with $myVal = new XML_RPC_Value (-1); return empty array instead of string "-1" and perhaps more very minor fixes that nobody has time to close. BTW, is there any means to synchronize package versions automatically in package.xml and in source files? For example special constant constructed from package name like define('XML_RPC_VERSION', '1.1.0'); It is possible to include that PACKAGE_NAME_VERSION define in the source files and replace them easily with package manager while releasing. That constants can be used to help debug messages for various client-server protocols. P.S. I haven't finished the thread about QA. My apologies for unanswered emails, but I really don't have time to chat. =( That was a very interesting social experiment and it has got some results. When I have a lot of time to analyse them I'll post a report with my point of view on the future of QA. What it can become and how to make it effective. (TiP) @ tut.by t --
