Well, actually I'm not too keen on working on another package... :-/
After looking through your examples, the code of HTTP_Cache and
HTTP_Download and pondering -maybe too- much about it, I think that
everything can already be done with HTTP_Download, except your auto
feature, which might be possible throug a slight modification.
Hm... any more thoughts?
