Guys,
while running my own PEPr proposal for Services_Yahoo it occured to
me that the voting rate seems to be extremely low:
All in all we've had 99 proposals that have called for votes until
today. Stephan has voted on 59 of these, followed by Helgi with 42
(sic!) and Alan and me with 41. The "Top 25" are listed at the end of
this mail. Only 25 developers (out of 576 with PEPr karma) have voted
more often than 10 times.
Is there any particular reason why most of you do not participate in
the votings? Is it because of the interface? Are you simply not
interested in new packages? Not taking part in our "democracy" is
definitely not very worthwile, because -- hey, you all are part of
PEAR and you should be aware of what is added to _your_ project.
