Is there any particular reason why most of you do not participate in the votings? Is it because of the interface? Are you simply not interested in new packages? Not taking part in our "democracy" is definitely not very worthwile, because -- hey, you all are part of PEAR and you should be aware of what is added to _your_ project.
similar reasons as greg cited .. although its mainly that i prefer answering questions over the boring details of looking at code i dont have an immediate need for. aside from that an increasing amount of proposals are php5 only with exceptions which leaves me even more uninterested. finally it seemed to me that a sufficient number of experienced people are looking after proposals so i was not so much worried about "crap" making it into pear. the interface is just fine imho and the process seems fine to me as well. regards, Lukas
