Very good point.
What concerns me with the interface is the usually large amount of
"proposed" packages. Maybe it would be better if we would <ul> them
by categories? So one could more easily spot those packages of
personal interest...
Anyway here are my main reasons why I vote when I vote:
- if I have personal interest in the package, of course
- if I'm definitly against a package
- if I feel the package would be a good addition to PEAR, although
I'm not familiar with the background, and it seems that it would
get lost because of too less interest
and the counterpart, why I don't vote:
- lack of time
- indifference about a package/technology/problem-solution
- many developers have already expressed my opinion/concerns
coupled with the first and/or second point
Regards,
