Ok. I asked because of you call overload() on a PHP4 class you can use
__call() and such but then you lose the ability to pass params by ref
to member functions unless you use call-time-pass-by-ref which is
deprecated. Plus it (used to) crash a lot. I'm sure you've seen the
DB_DO issues on the list pertaining to overloading...
