Laurent Laville (http://pear.php.net/user/farell) has initiated the call for votes on HTML::HTML_QuickForm_advmultiselect. Please review the proposal and give your vote here: http://pear.php.net/pepr/pepr-proposal-show.php?id=255
Even if this proposal is calling for votes, i've still continue to work on it, and i've some good news : 1. First we have the major problem with browsers that disabled javascript or does not allows it. In the new implementation , it's solved : accept both running (with or without js) 2. with a standard html select box, you can select multiple options if the 'multiple' attribute is set, but you’ve got to hold down the appropriate modifier key (ctrl on windows) in order to do so. In the new implementation , it's solved. I don't used anymore the 3 multi-select (with one hidden) but 2 groups of div + label + input-checkbox (1 for each select list) I've found lot of idea on reference below: [1] http://justinsomnia.org/2005/01/roll-your-own-multiple-select-listbox/ [2] http://www.phpguru.org/static/MultipleSelect.html [3] http://www.11abacus.com/dev/pear/HTML/QuickForm/icon_in_select_list.html And it gave something like this screenshot: http://laurent-laville.org/img/pepr/advmultiselect_demo7.png Sorry, i'm short in time to put online all stuff (class source code, examples and more ...) I'll do monday 20, june, because i can't do it sunday . I'm almost sure, everyone will be happy by this new. There is no limit to imagination; we can do it if we have time and ressource to make it (possible) :o) Laurent
