Just to keep you aware that i've updated my proposal homepage at http://laurent-laville.org/?mod=pear&des=pepr&act=advmultiselect and fixed javascript problem with rule validation on example 7 that throws unexpected error. It seems that we may only add a server validation rule for advmultiselect and my new implementation. A tarball is also available (0.2.0beta3) and contains all sources that you can see online Laurent Laville

Laurent Laville wrote: hi all, First thanks to all who have voted yes for this proposal. Second, i'm a bit sorry to have been so late to put this online, but as i said i've found a better implementation that will allows to use both browsers with and without javascript (enabled or not). Resume of changes: - double click is no more allowed due to replacement (multi-select by div+checkboxes) - include part of PHP_Compat code (see PHP_EOL constant usage) - no more use multiple select boxes (unselected, selected, and hidden) but instead use checkboxes to solve easily the CTRL+click - overloaded select load API to allows fancy attributes (see example 7) - new API getElementCss() to get stylesheet required (auto insert in html rendering phase: see toHtml() API) - getElementJs() is new API (changed to public) that replaced old _getJs() - easy integration into template environnement with getElementCss() and getElementJs() and setElementTemplate() Remove or keep placehoders {stylesheet}, {javascript} - MAJOR and IMPORTANT change is to unselect data operation: if you want to remove an item, just uncheck it, and keep others checked - and perharps more i've forgotten NEW source codes are available at : class http://laurent-laville.org/?mod=pear&des=pepr&act=advmultiselect&show=source_cls2 example 7 (allows fancy attributes, and again more config...) http://laurent-laville.org/?mod=pear&des=pepr&act=advmultiselect&show=source_ex7 example 8 (if JS is not available, use the server-side ability to manage the list) i've removed the button in template element http://laurent-laville.org/?mod=pear&des=pepr&act=advmultiselect&show=source_ex8 NEW demos: demo 7 http://laurent-laville.org/pear/pepr/HTML_QuickForm/advmultiselect/example7.php demo 8 http://laurent-laville.org/pear/pepr/HTML_QuickForm/advmultiselect/example8.php PLEASE have a look and tell me if you're agree with this new implementation or if i should keep and publish previous one. Thanks in advance, and sorry again for this publishing delay, but i think it was really necessary Laurent Laville
