- Fixed coding standards, which included variable name changes (ie. http_headers to httpHeaders) I think both $some_var and $someVar are acceptable, there's no strict rule for the variables stated here http://pear.php.net/manual/en/standards.naming.php Is it OK for a PEAR package to use $some_var?
The reason I changed this was because EVERY other variable and function in Net_Curl was fooBar and not foo_bar and the CS shows a clear preference for humpBack. I figured since the last stable release was 0.2 and 1.0.1beta1 was never released stable I'd go ahead and formalize the API, but include backwards compatibility, which doesn't bomb out, but does throw a notice informing the developer that they're using deprecated variables. I would concur with the others that variables *should* be humpBack since functions are and, from what I can tell, it appears to be a defacto standard of sorts. --Joe
