If another package Text_Markup is created then text_wiki should probably go in bugfix-only releases mode.
This makes sense. I agree that if Text_Wiki could be a generic text processor with drivers, etc. then we should do the following:
1.) Put Text_Wiki in dormant / bug fix mode
2.) Create Text_Markup or Text_Parser
This sounds like a good idea ...
