Because it doesn't /need/ PHP 5 per se, and there are still tons* of people
who'd like to use this on PHP 4.
* I'm extrapolating this using a terribly advanced mathematical model, of the
"if I want it, lots of other people do too" sort. I won't go into the details
- you wouldn't understand anyways - but suffice it to say that it is
perfectly accurate and has never failed me yet.
