Clay Loveless (http://pear.php.net/user/clay) has commented on the proposal for Web Services::PayPal
Services.
Comment:
John,
As I emailed you while in draft state, this package is promising, but has
the following problems:
- Not a PEAR-compatible license
- Does not follow PEAR coding style guide in a variety of ways, including
package, method and file naming. Also, tabs are used instead of spaces for
whitespace. Please read the PEAR CS guide very carefully.
- Package docblock headers are not correct re PEAR guidelines.
- While this isn't documented (yet), I believe that PHP5 packages need to
be using PEAR_Error_Exception. (should be double-checked on PEAR-DEV)
