i dropped $is_manip and instead of you set $result_types to false it will handle things as a manipulation query. i have also added getServerVersion() and finally fixed the biggest lie in all my MDB2 talks .. the mysql[i] driver finally know when they can use sub select and when not finally i have added a 'quote_identifier' option that determines if internal calls to quoteIdentifer() will actually get the string quoted or not there are obviously still things on the todo, but they should not require API changes (well there is one minor thing .. i am pondering using tableInfo() to automagically guess the result types if the result type is set to true instead of a string/array containing the types or null) so I think the core of MDB2 is ready to go into RC1. currently only the mysql and mysqli driver pass all tests as expected regards, Lukas
