I'm guessing the test created the columns/tables using delimited identifiers Delimited identifiers makes things case sensitive. So if the column was created with delimiters, such as '"somename"' will only respond to that exaxct name/case in between delimiters for the rest of time. So 'somename' without delimiting won't cut it.
Which is effectively like having the delimiters stuck to the name of the column. Gna .. this means that the approach that we have decided on in MDB2 to just use delimiters for all schema manipulation queries is foo bar when it comes to Oracle, so we probably have to introduce a switch after all :-/ regards, Lukas
