Giuseppe Dessì wrote:About the class name, i looked the package structure of HTML_QuickForm, an all add-on for HTML_QuickFom are located on HTML/QuickForm/ folder. due to QF structured package, I want to hold this convention. So my class add-on is an element for QF, as the select element but with Livesearch. I'll release the Livesearch_text too. About the style sheet, when you add an element of type => livesearch_select on QuickForm you have some options. as you can see in the online source example |
| |$form->addElement('livesearch_select', 'Nome', 'Example: Live Select, <br>select a name and return an ID <br>(useful for dropdown lists)',Corrected package structure. New file (as my last mail) http://clansworld.fastgaming.it/PEAR/QuickForm_Livesearch/HTML_QuickForm_Livesearch-0.0.2.tgz(link repaired) Just three remarks: - Coding Standards: looks much better (but I did not look at every single line of code) - your class has the name HTML_QuickForm_LiveSearch_Select, this would lead into HTML/QuickForm/LiveSearch/Select.php ('_' => '/'); you should either change the class name or the install path in package.xml (upper or lower case for the first letter shouldn't be a problem, QF itself uses both cases) - you could make the stylesheet configurable, e.g. via $_GLOBALS['_QF_LIVE_SEARCH']['STYLESHEET'] or something like that, and only if it isn't set, use your default stylesheet Apart from that, I'm looking forward to the first release ... Regards, Mark Hello Marks,
array(
'elementId' => 'search', //element id
'callback' => array('Test', 'getTestName'),//callback function to retrieve ID from selection
'style' => '',//optional class for style not set or '' ==> default
'divstyle' => '',//optional class for style not set or '' ==> default
'ulstyle' => '',//optional class for style not set or '' ==> default
'listyle' => '',//optional class for style not set or '' ==> default
'searchZeroLength' => 1 //enable the search request with 0 length keyword
)
)
You can see that the style is fully configurable ;)
Some other functions are coming, this is an alpha stage :)
Thank you for advices
Regards.
