Hi, I would like to ask that we restrain ourselves from stoking the flame fires. Public comments, however well-intentioned, that bash past actions of Pierre are inappropriate in the current dispute. I simply want a working release of PEAR_Frontend_Web out there. I have no interest in "taking over" or kicking people out - unless they actively block this process, as I said in the email. Pierre has clearly stated that he will try to do this important release of PEAR_Frontend_Web, and has given a public deadline to himself to finish the work he wishes to do on PEAR_Frontend_Web before relinquishing his rights as lead. This is the honorable thing to do in this dispute and I think it would be right to thank him rather than dig up old skeletons. The facts beat him up enough in the initial email. For these reasons, I would prefer that we keep this as impersonal and above the belt as possible on the public lists. Feel free to mud-sling and do celebrity death matches offlist to your heart's desire :) Greg
