Perhaps XML_SpreadsheetML_Writer could be a more appropriate name. That leaves it open for a *Reader and an object representation via a (yet to be written) XML_SpreadsheetML class. > Side question: can Oo read them ? I saw elsewhere [1] that there was work being done about making PHP classes to grok OpenDocument files. This would surely be a nice thing. I am not sure that OOo reads the new XML formats from MS just yet, but as they are published specs, some XSLT magic could help there. Side note: there is a Docbook -> OpenDocument tool that could be nice for the manual. [1] http://opendocumentphp.sourceforge.net/ -- Jesus M.
