With the retirement of Pierre (best of luck by the way) we are left with 3 empty seats out of 7 in the PEAR Group. Also, we have at most 3 (more realistically 2) active members of the QA Group (6 originally) left. I think these vacancies need to be filled to keep PEAR moving forward.
Well, I think we have a serious reason to celebrate here. Don't know about you, but I've already had some brandy (well, I drank it *before* I read this mail but right now I think it was a great coincidence).
I know there was an RFC for QA but that has been dead for a few months now. Can we have that move forward?
Can we have something else move forward, for gods' sake? Seriously, I don't remember anything good coming out of QA group ever. And I don't think we'll be able to have a QA group without having joint ownership on packages said group is expected to handle. Let's celebrate!
