Pretty good... I'd replace "team" with "open community".
PEAR is an open community of PHP developers who promotes better PHP
coding practices by providing high quality, well maintained, reusable
packages. The PEAR community also strives to create an environment which
empowers contributors to write better code through mentoring and peer
review for the benefit of all.
