I'm tempted to agree on this one, If Greg want's to get into his feature mode and produce a league table for pepr voter's it would be quite interesting as well......
While I'm sceptical that the collective's idea is going to work, It would be nice to be proved wrong.

PS. While I have to thank Greg for suggesting that I stand for PEAR Group again, I'm sitting it out this year, as I'm quite happy to see some fresh blood in there, and I can still make the occasional comment on pear-dev if I really need to ;).
PPS. Is there some way we can get each of the candidate's "vision/agenda" tagged into the voting system, so that you can see it when you decide to vote.. - Some of them look really good, and it's nice to see that much enthusiasm

Hi, There are 2-3 packages which have recently been rejected because not enough people voted. This is holiday season for some I guess. I think it should be added in the PEAR constitution that members of the PEAR Group (or PEAR QA) must vote, in order to make sure there is enough votes when the proposal reaches end date. Otherwise the developer will feel disappointed by the lack of interest for his proposal (even if sometimes the proposals touch very specialized subjects). I suggest the rejected proposals get one more week. -- Bertrand Mansion Mamasam Work : http://www.mamasam.com Blog : http://golgote.freeflux.net --PEAR Development Mailing List (http://pear.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
