[PEPr] Comment on PHP::PHPRPC

Sérgio Carvalho (http://pear.php.net/user/sergiosgc) has commented on the proposal for PHP::PHPRPC. Comment: Is there a real need for a non-standard RPC protocol? PEAR already provides XML-RPC and SOAP implementations. I believe even REST is supported, along with JSON serialization. The only advantage I can imagine is performance, but serialization is a small part of the load introduced by a remote protocol.
