This makes no sense. ITX extends IT, much as many PEAR classes extend PEAR base classes. There is no
extra layer, and I use it
regularly without problems with speed or otherwise.
Also, the ability to add blocks from files is the biggest shortcoming of IT. ITX adds this ability,
with which I could not do
without.
I think that you have never used ITX maybe?
