Not even, GSoC is not a "bug fixing project" it's to make a precise
open source project advance and evolve. If we want to apply we'll need
ideas much more organized than this.
We could try saying a "generalist engineer" that could work on some
random feature requests in PEAR, but I assure you it's going to be
rejected. We need to have something like: "Idea #1: PEAR2 core and
unzip and go feature implementing", or you guys see what I mean. We
need a clear goal. Something that students can actually *bid* on to be
accepted as the elected student.
