Not to steal momentum from PEAR, but it has been recently brought up
on the RoundCube (1) mailinglists that we could/should consider to
apply for GSoC as well. We use a couple PEAR libs and so on, there are
probably plenty of things we could do with the project, but I have no
idea what size the project must have to get accepted.
I just wanted to say that if anyone feels compelled and steps forward
with a great idea, we'd support that for RoundCube. For example - I am
thinking, if someone wants to help implementing a PluginAPI for
example that would be a piece for the summer. But those are just
thoughts.
So if anyone got ideas, either email me directly or join in yourself
on our mailinglist (you will need to subscribe to
dev@lists.roundcube.net).
