PEAR Group Election: Call For Nominations

On Sunday, June 1st, 2008, the election for the next PEAR Group will start. Thus all developers interested in running for a seat in the Group are invited to nominate themselves on the developers mailing list (pear-dev@lists.php.net). Ideally interested parties should quickly introduce themselves and provide a platform statement in which they describe their goals and ambitions for their Group membership. Please note that also the current members of the Group need to nominate themselves if they wish to run again. Any PHP developer, regardless of affiliation with PEAR may run for a spot on the PEAR Group. Nominations will be collected by the election secretary (Martin Jansen, mj@php.net) and all nominees will receive a confirmation mail once they are on the list of candidates.
