What I suggest is to put the country-specific drivers under the country
code name, in this case JP. But the package itself seems quite generic,
just in the same way Net_UserAgent_Mobile is generic, although very
geared towards Japan as well.
So, for instance, if Google was to release a triangulation API for "My
Location" that could eventually be plugged into this package. I know
some US carriers offer some kind of device locating services, I don't
know if they provide an accessible API though.
Also devices with built-in GPS capabilities integrated with web browsing
wouldn't too far from this package either.
Anybody know more on the topic of GPS integrated with web browsers?
Bottom line, IMO the Net_GPS package name doesn't really need to have JP
added to it.
