My first PEAR package was made available at GitHub, and I think it was
a good thing in the proposal proccess.
It was easier for other devs to review the code and suggest
fixes/improvements/etc.
This package is the living proof of what Joe said: "No more manual
patch submissions: just fork mine, commit, and I'll merge"
Till had some suggestions, he forked the repo, committed the changes
and asked for a merge. Done!
