Hi
I am running into an issue where in when I try to run
pear install <any pear package>
I get the following message and then it just hangs..
Starting to download ... done
It seems that after successful download, for some reason, pear is unable to successfully unpack the downloaded tar.gz file. This is happening with pretty much most of the pear packages.
Is there a simple way to turn on debugging or verbose logging within pear to find out which php API call is causing this hang. I did a truss at this point and it seems that it doesn't recognize probably the end of file ?
