Thinking of a nice proposal for Microsoft to make all PHP projects available
on CodePlex available via a PEAR channel. I'll keep you posted on that
matter.

Just a side note without wanting to interrupt the discussion. On google code
people have successfully published channels by uploading the channel REST
XML there and point a DNS to it.
That is everything is generated by the developer on their box (e.g. Maarten)
and then committed to SVN / CVS etc and then there is a
channel.fancydomain.com domain that points to that location using redirects
or similar.
Maybe CodePlex offers similar approaches, if not, we could perhaps compel
them to?
