Go to http://pear.php.net/package-new.php and register your
new package there (after we have decided which category to
take). You can then upload a first release through http://pear.php.net/release-upload.php.
I must have missed some mail on this at some point. I knew where the release announcements were coming from but I didn't think anyone had mentioed the web interface was working.
Anyway, just to clear things up, I suspect that the /pear CVS and the packages on the web site are two separate lists? What's the thinking behind keeping the two in sync - or not?
I'm sure this has been discussed before would a better stragtegy be building the web list based on the contents of the repository and package.xml?
I'm going to upload a new version of Net_Geo soon, does this mean I need to commit to CVS _and_ upload to the website?
