Yeah it's time we have cause some movement again.
I believe what's going to be big(-ger) in the next year is
"installers". For some reason, none wants to contribute to the PEAR
installer because they all think writing an installer is easy. I'd
love if we could put our foot down and say: "It's time, let's move,
this is the new installer, you can plugin like this, yaddi yadda".
A lot of people are interested in NPMs (From Node.js) either because
they haven't tried it or because the find them simpler. I'm not a big
fan of NPMs personally but other communities have a bunch of projects
popping right and left.
We need to find some help and get more movement on the installer front
and start distributing this properly.
Let's move!
