Brent, Welcome aboard! =) We are about at same stage: understand how it works. I've already looked over it and saw a lot of space for improvements, mostly in the interface with the user that's not friendly. You can start getting the files from cvs.php.net, try to understand it and discuss with us. We agreed that for functional conversations we should cc to the list. But for conversational emails, we'll be talking in private. Later we can talk to Tim and cvs administrators to have cvs account and make the changes. As you are in the finals of this semester too we will start in the next two weeks, like May 10.
