On Sunday it was working good, but Stig introduced some changes these
last days in the argument parsing, that is the reason. Now it also will
try to create the dir for the config file before trying to write it.
Could you please try again and report if you find something wrong?

PS.- Stig, by default in a clean "go-pear" installation I see the
verbose config option set to 2 (seems that it's in the "user" layer).
Could you change it to 1?
