The current code is now available here[1]. As I mentioned
it's not production quality yet. It's got a BSD-like
license attached to it right now.

I looked at the I18N package, perhaps this could fit in as
something like:
I18N/Gettext/PO.php
But I don't really think it fits as part of the same
package, since the I18N stuff uses pure PHP, and my class
is used to manipulate PO files used by the real gettext.
