The PEAR naming convention can also be a little confusing (like Perl's).
Cache.php is installed in the root dir.
Cache includes are in the Cache dir.
Cache_Lite is installed as Cache/Lite.php and get mixed with Cache includes.
BUT, I think conventions are GOOD (even if I dislike some specific parts).
