I suggest to create a "usual" package.xml like you would do it for
every package maintained in PEAR's CVS. After having created the
tarball via "pear package", you have to options:
* Upload the tarball on your server and use "pear install
http://www.horde.org/pear/foo.tar.gz"
This will install the package foo directly from horde.org
* Upload the tarball created by "pear package" on
pear.php.net. People will then be able to download and install
it from there.
Or did I get you wrong?
