'pear config-show' will list the config settings. The default preferable state is set to
'stable' :
...
| Preferred Package | preferred_state | stable |
...
To change it to alpha:
pear config-set preferred_state alpha
Actually, you can see stable packages or all packages. This will be fixed soon.
