Do you mind if I say I'm a little confused by these instructions? Is Pear
not just a framework of nice PHP classes. What is there to compile,
exactly?
I just grab the contents of pear and php4/pear from CVS, put them in my
include path, and use them like any other PHP class. Is there more to Pear
than this? It seems like folks are making this too complicated.
