Stig Bakken and Tomas V.V. Cox are working on a great paket of
scripts that will come with your PHP distribution one day and
that will be automatically installed on your system during the
build process of PHP. With this scripts you can easily install
new PEAR packages on your system - just like you do it today
with RPM, DEB or something similar.
