Hi!
Im trying to migrate from MySQL 4.0 to PostgreSQL 7.3
I'm using PEAR::DB, so this will be no big problem. But how to get data and
table-definitions to PostgreSQL?
I have about 100 tables which have to be migrated. I tried to use MyODBC and
pgAdmin2 migration Wizard, but this does not work (pgAdmin crashes).
So I tried to change a mysqldump by myself, but this is very difficult and
could cause problems which I perhaps don't see at once.
So is there a better solution to migrate the table-definitions?
I thougt about PEAR::MDB, is there a way to create an XML-table-definition
for MDB, by MDB itself? I could not find any methodes which could do
something like that.
What could I do?
Any ideas?
kind regards,
Andreas
