should I use the one from MDB or MDB2?

I use "nextSequence()" Methode in PEAR::DB, and this creates the
sequence-tables in mysql, now I would like to go on unsing nextSequence()
with pg, can the reverse engineering script in MDB(2) create theses
squences, so that I can create the database in pg using MDB without
problems?
