I am trying to install Pear on Windows Apache 1.3.26 / PHP 4.35. When I try
and run the go-pear command from the dos prompt all seems fine until after
the install has completed and then I get the following output: -
WARNING! The include path defined in the currectly used php.ini does not
contain the PEAR PHP directory you just specified.
<c:\Php\pear>
If the specified directory is also not in the include_path used by your
scripts, you will have problems getting any PEAR packages working.
Current include path: .;c:\php4\pear
Cnfigured dirtectory: c:\Php\pear
Currently used php.ini (guess):
Press enter to continue:
I have checked that the include_path is set and the enviromental variables
are correct.
The Pear installation creates the pear.ini file and dumps it in a new dir
<c:\php4\pear.ini>, is this correct?
I then run pear from from the command line and get the following: -
PHP_PEAR_INSTALL_DIR is not set correctly.
Please fix it using your enviromental variable or modify the default value
in pear.bat.
The current value is:
ECHO is off.
Thanks in advance.
