Dear Norbet,
I've been struggling with this since early yesterday.
I have installed PHP 4.3.5 which contains pear files, then run the pear.bat
as explained in initial message. All seems OK, but when I run pear I get
the message shown below: -
PHP_PEAR_INSTALL_DIR is not set correctly.
Please fix it using your enviromental variable or modify the default value
in pear.bat.
The current value is:
ECHO is off.
I have run the registry file and double checked the registry settings are
correct (case sensitive, etc.,). I have done a re-boot and still getting
the same. This is starting to seriously wind me up, please help.
Regards,
Charlie

Hello Charles,
Try to double-click on C:\php4\PEAR_ENV.reg to import the new environment
settings to the registry. Maybe it requires a reboot too.

Dunno if it's correct but it's there for me too.

Norbert
