Hello,
I have a page, where I want to be able to pass some data through a quickform. That is, I want the data to be part of the QuickForm, even be able to display it to the user, but have it be immutable. I thought that the 'static' element type would be perfect. It does indeed allow me to display the data to the user without the user being able to modify it. However, it isn't available to me when I go to process the form!
That may be how it was designed, but might I suggest that you guys modify it so that the value associated with that static element be saved with the rest of the values for the form?
E.g.
say I have an element defined as:
$form->addElement('static', 'myStaticVar');
when I go to process it:
$values = $form->exportValues();
$values['myStaticVar'] currently is not set, but could you guys change it so that it is in the next version?
