It might be worth while to set two QF fields: one static, so it displays immutable, and one hidden, so the value propagates.I got to thinking a little bit more about that suggestion. If I was gonna do that, I might almost just use a text field, and then freeze() it - that would effectively be the same thing, no? Jeff
